Our mission guides everything we do. We believe that access to safe, decent, and affordable housing helps individuals and families build greater stability and create stronger futures.
We accomplish this mission by bringing together families, volunteers, donors, businesses, community organizations, and other partners to address housing needs throughout Hillsborough County.

What We Do
Habitat for Humanity of Tampa Bay Hillsborough carries out its mission through a range of housing and community programs designed to help individuals, families, and neighborhoods.
Homeownership
We help eligible families pursue affordable homeownership through Habitat's homeownership program. Partner families work alongside Habitat and community volunteers as they take steps toward purchasing an affordable home and building long-term housing stability.
Home Preservation and Repair
We help existing homeowners maintain safe and decent housing through home repair and preservation services. These efforts can help address critical home conditions and allow homeowners to remain safely in their homes.
Neighborhood Revitalization
We work with residents and community partners to improve neighborhoods through projects that strengthen homes, public spaces, and the overall quality of local communities.
Financial Mentorship
We provide financial education and mentoring to help individuals and families develop the knowledge and tools needed to strengthen their financial stability and work toward long-term housing success.
Veteran Services
We provide housing-related services and support for veterans in our community, helping address housing needs while connecting veterans with resources and opportunities for greater stability.
