What Appliances Can I Donate?
Habitat ReStore accepts new and gently used appliances. Because acceptance may depend on an appliance’s condition, age, size, current inventory and resale potential, please contact the ReStore before arranging transportation or pickup.
Potential appliance donations may include:
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Washing machines
- Clothes dryers
- Ranges and stoves
- Ovens
- Dishwashers
- Microwaves
- Other working household appliances
All appliance donations should be clean, complete and in good working condition. Appliances with significant damage, missing components or mechanical problems may not be accepted.

Appliance Donation Pickup in Tampa
Large appliances can be difficult to move without the right vehicle or equipment. Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay – Hillsborough offers pickup scheduling for large donations.
To request an appliance donation pickup:
- Call the ReStore Donation Hotline at 813-540-7540.
- Describe the appliance you would like to donate.
- Be prepared to provide information about its age and condition.
- Provide photographs if requested.
- Confirm whether the appliance qualifies for pickup.
- Arrange an available pickup date and follow the preparation instructions provided by the ReStore team.
Pickup availability and acceptance are not guaranteed. Habitat ReStore must first determine whether the appliance is suitable for resale.

Donors may also be able to bring eligible appliances directly to a Habitat ReStore. Please call before loading or transporting a large appliance so the team can confirm acceptance and provide current drop-off instructions.
