Carlton Fields CEO and longtime Habitat for Humanity Supporter to Present Keys

TAMPA, Fla., December 20, 2016 – For 16 years, Miriam Baker has dreamed of celebrating Christmas with her four children in a home of their own. After months of working sweat equity hours building that dream home alongside hundreds of community volunteers, Baker will receive the keys to her Habitat for Humanity home on Friday, December 23 –– just in time for Christmas.

Carlton Fields President and CEO Gary Sasso will present Baker and her children with the keys to their new Habitat home at a dedication ceremony Friday at 5:30 p.m. Carlton Fields has been a strong supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County’s affordable homeownership program, donating annual legal services valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last decade.

“Over the last 10 years, our law firm has been very pleased to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County,” said Sasso. “We are committed to contributing our time, energy, and skills to help the people and causes that need them the most, and we are rewarded by the impact we see in our community.  We are greatly honored to support Habitat’s important mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance in Hillsborough County. On behalf of Carlton Fields, we congratulate Miriam and her family and welcome them to their new home.”
