Habitat Hillsborough Names Chief Development Officer
TAMPA, FL, March 29, 2018 – Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County has promoted Richard Rogers, CFRE, to Chief Development Officer. Rogers will be responsible for comprehensive strategy and overall planning and execution of development activities. As Chief Development Officer, he will also work with the Habitat Hillsborough CEO and Board of Directors in developing and overseeing philanthropic relationships for the affordable housing non-profit.
Prior to his promotion, Rogers served as Vice President of Philanthropy for Habitat Hillsborough since October 2017. Rogers earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation and has 18 years of non-profit experience and a strong background in developing a sustained philanthropic constituency and effective infrastructure for fundraising activities and programs. Prior to joining Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, Rogers served Eckerd Youth Alternatives for 17 years in several key operations and development roles including his most recent position as Executive Director.
